The NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS) lets your GP send your prescription directly to a pharmacy you've chosen — your "nominated pharmacy". Most repeat prescriptions in England are now handled this way. If you nominate us, your medication will be waiting for you here on The Square.
How to nominate us
You can nominate Keyworth Pharmacy in any of three ways:
- In person: just pop in and ask. It takes about a minute.
- At your GP surgery: ask the reception team to set Keyworth Pharmacy as your nominated pharmacy.
- Through the NHS App: you can change your nominated pharmacy yourself in the app's prescription settings.
How the process works
- Order your repeat prescription with your GP as you normally would (through the NHS App, your surgery's online service, or by phone).
- Your GP electronically sends the prescription to us.
- We dispense it and let you know when it's ready to collect.
What we don't offer
We don't take repeat prescription requests through our website. Your repeat needs to be requested directly from your GP surgery — once it's been authorised, it'll arrive with us electronically and we'll do the rest.
Free prescription collection
If your GP surgery still issues paper prescriptions, we can collect them from the surgery on your behalf with the right permissions in place — ask us about this in store.
